Coin Recognition

We have been learning to recognise coins and know their values. We discussed the coins; what they look like, how big/small they are, what shape they are – whether they have one curve or lots of sides. We then sorted coins by their name, ordered coins from lowest to highest values and some children even started making amounts up to £5!
