Rounding Practical

Today in P5A, we revisited rounding numbers—but this time through a hands-on activity! Pupils worked with a variety of items, including pompoms, pasta shapes, lollipop sticks, and Dienes cubes. They also measured the length of a page and counted money. Once they found the correct amounts, they rounded their results to the nearest 10, 100, £ and 1 centimetre. The class really enjoyed this practical approach to learning!
