km and m

Today in P5A, we began learning about kilometres and metres as units of measurement. We discovered that 1 kilometre equals 1,000 metres. To practise this, each pupil was given a distance on their whiteboard and had to move around the classroom to find the partner with the equivalent distance. It was a fun and active way to reinforce our understanding of metric conversions!
