Landmark Materials

Today in P5A, we continued our World Around Us topic on Famous Landmarks. We explored the different materials that landmarks can be made from and discussed the differences between natural and man-made landmarks. Working together, we sorted examples into these two categories and then ranked the materials from strongest to weakest. Finally, we examined the unique qualities each material offers and considered why certain materials are chosen for building famous landmarks.
