Advertisement Role Play
As part of our persuasive writing focus, P5A worked in small groups to create our own TV advertisements. Inspired by the short film The Little Shoemaker from Literacy Shed, we brainstormed catchy phrases and persuasive slogans that would convince the audience—our classmates—to buy a pair of shoes from the Little Shoemaker’s shop. After planning and practising our ideas, each group performed their advertisement for the rest of the class. It was a fun way to explore how language can be used to persuade!
