Pass the Subtraction

P4 integrated music into their numeracy learning this week to support their subtraction skills. We played a game called Pass the Subtraction, similar to Pass the Parcel. When the music stopped, the child holding the subtraction card had to answer the question as quickly as possible. The class were highly engaged and motivated, and it was a fun, active way to reinforce mental subtraction.
