Arctic Animals Blubber Experiment 🐻‍❄️❄️

As part of our ‘Amazing Animals’ topic, the children explored how Arctic animals stay warm in freezing temperatures. Using ice-cold water and a glove filled with butter to represent blubber, they carried out a hands-on experiment to test insulation. One hand went straight into the icy water, while the other was protected by the ‘blubber glove’. The results were clear — the blubber kept their hand warm! The children were amazed by how effective this natural insulation is and loved learning through this exciting, sensory experience.
