Time Capsule activities

As part of our school's 50th anniversary celebrations, each key stage was entrusted with its own time capsule, carefully buried on the school grounds — a gift to the future.

Inside P5A’s capsule, we placed a variety of keepsakes that capture who we are in 2025:

1. Signed Class Photos – We included two class photographs, each signed beside our own picture. We wonder… will we recognise ourselves in 50 years’ time?

2. Messages to Our Future Selves – Each pupil wrote a short note to their future self, sharing hopes and dreams, favourite hobbies, and even a few jokes!

3. A Letter to Future Pupils – Together, we wrote a class letter to the children of 2075, describing what school life is like today, what we’re learning, our favourite playground games, and the singers and movies we love in 2025.

4. P5A Interviews – We recorded our predictions for the future, imagining what school might be like in 2075, what incredible inventions might exist, and where we see ourselves in 50 years.

We can't wait to see these keep sakes again in 2075!
