Phonics- Activity based learning

Our sound this week is /ow/. Today the children explored the different ways we can make the ow sound (ou and ow). They participated in multi-sensory practical activities to assist them in learning how to identify the /ow/ sound and spell their spelling words. These included creating a pic collage with /ow/ pictures as well as using play dough, paint and magnetic letters.
