Super ‘S’ Sounds in P1! 🐍✂️📚
In Primary 1, we’ve been busy learning all about the sound of the week—‘s’—through our Jolly Phonics scheme! We listened to the catchy song and story, spotted pictures that begin with the ‘s’ sound, and practised our letter formation with lots of fun activities.
One of our favourite tasks was a cut-and-stick challenge where we had to find and sort pictures that started with ‘s’. Mrs Dagen tried to trick us with a sneaky picture of an ant… but we were far too clever and spotted it straight away!
We’re loving phonics in P1—it’s helping us become super sound detectives and confident early readers!
