Regrouping Practical

Today we practised adding two-digit numbers using the column method.
We used the base 10 counters to help us see how the numbers fit into tens and ones. We learnt that sometimes the ones column adds up to more than 9, and when this happens we need to regroup by moving extra ones into the tens column. This helped us understand why regrouping is important and made it easier to solve our equations.
