The Wheels on the Bus Go... Scribble Scribble! 🚌✏️
In P1, we had a brilliant writing lesson all about pre-writing shapes—and our theme was “The Wheels on the Bus”! We began with learning how to draw horizontal and vertical lines.

We did so many fun activities to help us practise our lines. We drew windows on our buses using straight horizontal and vertical lines around the people inside. We even used toy vehicles dipped in paint to make line tracks across the page—vroom vroom!In our small world area, we built a busy town with buses and passengers, and we had to draw lines on our bus tickets to hop on board. We worked in pairs—one of us was the driver and the other was the passenger.

It was such a fun way to learn and we’re getting really good at our writing shapes!
