WALT carry out an investigation.

P6 pupils marked Science Week by carrying out a fun (and tasty) investigation. Pupils sought to answer a much pondered question, which biscuit is the most durable? They considered the variables and discussed the importance of a fair test. The boys and girls then made their prediction but beginning to dunk each biscuit. The pupils had different roles: timer, recorder, organiser and dunker. The boys and girls were interested to notice that each group had slightly different results. We discussed why this might be before thinking about how we could improve the investigation if we repeated it in the future.
