🐥 Easter Art 🖍
This week we learned all about the story of Easter and we celebrate on Easter Sunday. To mark this special day we made Easter cards for our families. We finger painted the cross and scrunched up tissue paper for the grass. We got lots of complements on our hard work!
🌿 Welcome to our new Sensory Garden 🍃

🧴 Salon Styling ✂️
During our free play session we were very busy in our new salon. We’ve got some excellent cut and blow dry offers if you’re in need of a haircut.
🎄 Christmas Construction 🔨
Here are a selection of photos of our construction activities. We built festive villages, tall towers and Santa’s workshop.
✏️ Christmas Cartoons 🎅🏼
We followed an online video that showed us step by step how to draw different Christmas cartoons. I think you will agree we could create cartoons as a job! Disney we’re waiting on your call....
📮 Pixie Post Office ✉️
Our current topic is Into the Post so we created a Christmas Post Office in our classroom. We are using our skills with money to buy different items to post our letters to Santa. We are writing the letters all my ourselves using word banks and pictures to help us. If you have any letters to post this Christmas, send them our way!
Chromatography Flowers 💐
We investigated what happens when we add drops of water to a marker. Mrs Cassidy told us that the marker had lots of colours inside but it was hidden, to see if she was right we conducted our own investigation. Using tissue paper flowers we coloured the petals using marker pens. After we used droppers to drip water on to the flowers to see what happened. After a while the colours stared to spread and change and different colours appeared!
Obstacle Fun 🤩
We worked on our balance and climbing skills by completing our own obstacle course! We had to climb, crawl and jump over the soft play equipment and climb up the climbing frame, it was very high!
During free play we decided to design a house for Goldilocks and her family so she doesn’t have to use the Three Bear’s things.
Term 1 Fun! 😀
