Thursday 13th January

Primary 4 have been making the most of the recent mild January weather with plenty of outside PE lessons which the children have really enjoyed. This particular lesson involved the children competing against each other where they had to throw their bean bags into different sized hoops from various distances. The focus of this lesson was to improve their throwing skills and technique - both overcame and underarm throws as well as having fun while participating in a new game. We hope that this mild weather holds up so that we can keep getting outside for our PE lessons ⚽️🥏🥅

Friday 5th November

As well as twice weekly PE lessons in Primary 4 the pupils have the opportunity to explore and use the different outdoor learning / play areas on our school grounds throughout the school week. Between the Pirate Ship playground, the Daily Mile track and the Play Park the pupils are spoilt for options for their break times. Here are a few picture of the boys and girls enjoying the playground while using a range of equipment that allows them to have even more fun in between working so hard during the day.

Friday 10th September

Pupils enjoying Tag Rugby and for many pupils they got the chance to experiencing a new team game. Pupils participated in different warm up games before practicing their throwing and catching skills with a different shaped ball and finishing off with a challenge that required a lot of teamwork.
