Children’s Mental Health Week: As part of mental health week we have been taking part in special mindfulness sessions. We have been considering how we have grown and how we can help others grow. We reflected on the idea of a rainbow as a symbol of hope, bringing happiness and light after the rain has cleared.
On the 1st of February we spent time learning about St. Brigid. We enjoyed learning about her life and we listened to the wonderful story of St. Brigid’s cloak. We used a paper weaving technique to make our own version of her cloak.
During Catholic Schools Week P3 spent time reflecting on the wonderful things about our grandparents. We made beautiful posters to celebrate what we love or loved about them. We also said a prayer and lit a candle on our interactive prayer space for our grandparents and other family members that are important to us.
As part of the module we are completing with Young Enterprise NI we enjoyed completing the first unit we enjoyed exploring and discussing the different jobs that members of our family did.
