Ireland's Future is Mine- Entry Submitted!

Since September, Primary 7a have been taking part in the 'Ireland's Future is Mine' nationwide Minecraft competition, in association with Microsoft Ireland and RTÉ.

During October and November, pupils took part in weekly Minecraft lessons and challenges, set my Corey and Amanda from Microsoft Dreamspace.

After completing all challenges, the competition was set: Pupils had to create a more sustainable version of their local area!

From November- February, P7a have taken time each week to plan for and create a more sustainable version of Downpatrick. They used the mantra of 'Plan- Do- Review' to help them achieve this.

After completing their creation last week, P7a spent this week creating and editing their video presentation (which could not exceed 3 minutes) using Apple iMovie software.

Now that their entry has been submitted, P7a pupils are waiting patiently to see if they have been selected as one of the Ulster winners, as well as whether they have made it to the All-Ireland Semi-Finals. Good luck P7a!
