We are delighted to be participating in the Downpatrick St. Patrick’s Day Parade, again this year! On Thursday 2nd March, pupils from Key Stage Two, were joined by local artist, Judith O’Neill, representing Down Community Arts. The boys and girls designed costumes and created props which they will use when they take part in the celebrations on 17th March. The theme of this year’s parade will be a celebration of all the things we can be proud of within our community. St. Colmcille's are very proud to serve the communities of The Flying Horse, Ballymote and the wider Downpatrick Area. Through our participation in the parade, we are looking forward to telling the story of Pegasus and promoting our popular local landmark and tourist attraction, Downpatrick Racecourse.
